NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - A 93-year-old New Rochelle woman was transported to Sound Shore Medical Center after losing control of her car and striking a pole midday Tuesday New Rochelle Police Lt. George Marshall said.
The woman suffered head injuries when her 2009 Hyundai hit the pole while traveling north on Pinebrook Boulevard at the intersection of Forest Avenue, Marshall said. The front of the vehicle sustained severe damage.
New Rochelle Police, New Rochelle Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services all responded to the scene.
