At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Monday, April 17, police were dispatched to a Warburton Avenue home for a reported dispute between roommates, Yonkers Police Sgt. Dean Politopoulos said.

Upon arrival, a female resident told officers that her 52-year-old roommate had come home intoxicated and attacked her two adult sons - 26 and 36-years-old - who live in the residence. Politopoulos said that the dispute culminated when the roommate attacked the pair, making contact with both. He then fled the scene.

Politopoulos said that both victims suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives from the Major Case and Crime Scene Unit are currently investigating the incident. Preliminary information has determined that it may be a domestic situation.

Investigators are currently working with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office to determine possible criminal charges. Keep following Daily Voice for updates.
