Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to Northern Westchester Hospital Center shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, where there was a report of a 10-year-old girl who had possibly been sexually assaulted by her 15-year-old relative who was visiting Westchester, officials said.

Following an investigation by patrol officers and detectives, the 15-year-old was arrested and charged as a juvenile defender, and as a result, his identity has not been released.

Police said that he is scheduled to appear in Westchester County Family Court later this year to answer the charges against him.
