A Metro-North conductor reportedly was flagged down about 7:30 p.m. on Monday by a passenger who wondered why someone carrying a gun was aboard the train.

Harrison police said the train was searched for weapons and that it is suspected the armed person may have been a law enforcement officer authorized to carry a weapon.

Harrison police said Metropolitan Transit Authority police are investigating the incident.
