Police: New Rochelle Man Stabbed By Intruder

Updated 2:25 p.m.: New Rochelle Police report an arrest has been made in the attack. No other details were immediately available.

NEW ROCHELLE – A New Rochelle man was stabbed several times Saturday morning when he confronted an intruder in his home, police said.

According to a New Rochelle police spokesman, a man returned at about 9:30 a.m. to his home at 127 4th St. to find a neighbor in his apartment. A fight broke out, and the intruder stabbed the man numerous times before leaving, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police said the wounds were not life-threatening.
Police said they are investigating and no other information was released.
