According to the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Shadaviva Hall, 31 has been charged with felony counts of third-degree grand larceny and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing after allegedly collecting $14,000 in unemployment benefits she was not entitled to.
Hall was taken into custody on Wednesday following an investigation by the New York State Department of Labor and state police, which also determined the suspect created false business records by claiming she was completely unemployed, when she was actually gainfully employed.
Hall is due back in New Rochelle Court on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
