New Rochelle Police Respond To 28 Fireworks Calls

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – New Rochelle police were busy responding to reports of fireworks Wednesday.

Throughout the day and night officers responded to 28 incidents throughout the city, according to the department's event log sheet.

The department routinely responds to such calls on the Fourth of July. The officers tell people to stop setting off fireworks, police Capt. Joseph Schaller said.

No arrests were made.
