New Rochelle Police Investigating Overnight Gunshots

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Police in New Rochelle are continuing the investigation into an overnight shooting after a bullet went through the back of a Union Avenue home early on Monday morning.

According to police, gunshots pierced through an otherwise quiet night shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday morning, with a single bullet going through the back window of a multi-family home, prompting the police investigation.

During the investigation, officers discovered several bullet casings in a field around the corner from the home. There were no injuries reported in the shooting. Police are asking anyone with information on Monday’s shooting to contact them at (914) 654-2300.
