Police confirmed that Parish Tomoney, 21, was arrested on Wednesday after he and his partner-in-crime robbed their 50-year-old victim at gunpoint shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Edgewood Park near Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital on Lockwood Avenue.
The suspects reportedly stole the victim’s wallet and jewelry before making off in separate directions. The investigation into the second suspect is ongoing, and it remains unclear which was holding the rifle during the armed robbery. Tomoney is scheduled to be arraigned on first-degree robbery charges Thursday afternoon.
