NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The New Rochelle Police Department has intensified its search into a missing New Rochelle teenager that has been missing for nearly three weeks.
On Thursday, Jan. 5, the department issued a missing person report for 16-year-old Mabel Guiracocha, who was last seen on Centre Avenue wearing a blue NorthFace jacket, black sweatpants and blue Uggs.
This week, police issued an email alert to New Rochelle residents, alerting them of the search for the teen.
Guiracocha has been described as a 5-foot, 4-inch, 145 pound Hispanic female with a medium build. She has brown hair, brown eyes and no discernible scars, marks or tattoos.
According to police, she may have been with a teenage Hispanic man named “Luis,” who operates a 2005 gray Lincoln Navigator with New York license plates. Anyone with information can contact detectives at (914) 654-2300.
