NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- A New Rochelle man currently serving a 320-month sentence in the U.S. Penitentiary at Pollock, La. was sentenced to an additional 80 months after stabbing a fellow inmate, according to U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley.

John Waller, 41, was caught on camera using a makeshift knife to repeatedly stab another inmate, Finley said. The victim received multiple puncture wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the statement said.

In addition to the 80 month sentence, Waller must also serve an additional three years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney's statement.
