NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – An 11-year-old New Rochelle boy was treated and released from Sound Shore Medical Center after suffering a minor injury to his left leg in a bicycle accident involving a vehicle, New Rochelle Police Department Sergeant Myron Joseph said.
The accident took place Monday morning at Eastchester and Clove roads, Joseph said.
The boy was unable to stop on wet pavement as he was riding to play tennis at New Rochelle High School; he came into contact with a 2010 Volvo sport utility vehicle, according to Joseph.
No arrests were made.
