Bronxville Youth Accused Of Marijuana Possession

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – A 17-year-old Bronxville boy was arrested in the parking lot of the Bronxville School Saturday night on  charges of marijuana possession, a violation, police said.

Police approached the teen's 2012 Jeep Wrangler for being in the school parking lot after dark. Officers smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and found 17 small plastic bags of the drug, police said.

The vehicle was impounded. The boy was released on his own recognizance and is due in court Wednesday, Dec. 19.
