Bronx Man Charged In New Rochelle Theft

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – A Bronx man was charged with petit larceny after he was accused of attempting to take six copper pipes from the Home Depot, New Rochelle Police Capt. Joseph Schaller said.

Nicholas Barba, 31, of 823 Home St., Bronx, N.Y., bought six copper pipes from the Weyman Avenue store, then went back in, and tried to obtain six more using the receipt from the six he just bought, Schaller said. Store security then notified police, who arrested him.
