Boy Dies Overnight In New Rochelle Following Asthma Attack

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - An 8-year-old boy in New Rochelle died early on Wednesday morning after suffering from a severe asthma attack in his family’s apartment.

According to police, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, first responders were dispatched to a Main Street apartment for reports of a child entering cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, the boy - who has not been identified yet - was rushed to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
