New Rochelle Native Andrew Michael DiMaggio Dies At 25

Westchester native Andrew Michael DiMaggio of Lagrangeville died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 14. He was 25.

Born in New Rochelle on March 9, 1992, Andrew was the son of Andrew and Eileen (Connell) DiMaggio. He graduated from Arlington High School in 2010 and had been employed by Trump Golf Course. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, cliff jumping, dirt biking and photography.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is also survived by his brothers, James (Madison Conway), Christopher (Adrian Gallo), and Michael (Corrine Koslowski); his girlfriend, Sandy Mayer; his grandparents, Jim and Joan Connell, and Bob DiMaggio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82 in Hopewell Junction.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, in LaGrangeville followed by interment in Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle.
