NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Vincent "Vinny" Savanello of New Rochelle died Sunday, June 17. He was 58.
He was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Port Chester to Vincent A. and Pauline Cherico Savanello. He graduated from Port Chester High School. A former Port Chester resident, Vinny Savanello lived at the YAI Belvidere group home in New Rochelle.
He is survived by two sisters, Angela (Charles) Riccio and Grace Ann Savanello; two nephews; an aunt; and two uncles. He was predeceased by his parents.
Visiting is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
