NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Lifelong New Rochelle resident Valentina Pryce (Acocella) died Thursday, June 2. She was 59.
Pryce worked as a pre-school teacher at Westchester Ethical Culture Nursery School for nearly 20 years and was Troop 1873's Girl Scout Leader.
Pryce was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and Buffalo State University.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Greg; son, Matthew and his wife, Gabi; daughter, Shanna and her husband, David; son, Thomas; father, Valentino Acocella; sister, Madelyn and her husband, Fugazy; sister, Christine and her husband, Bua; and grandchildren, Amelia and Nicholas.
She was predeceased by her mother, Victoria Marie Acocella (Mandarano).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to The Girl Scouts of America.
