Susan E. Rose, 67, Lifelong New Rochelle Resident

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Susan E. Rose, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died Oct. 30. She was 67.

Rose was born Nov. 9, 1946, in New Rochelle, to Andrew F. and Dorothy E. (Kelly) Rose. She was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and Iona College. She retired from the Westchester County Health Department where she worked for over 35 years. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Rose is survived by her mother, Dorothy; brothers, Andrew Jr. (Pamela) and Richard (Louise); and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Andrew.

Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment to follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rose to St. Jude's Research Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association or The Arthritis Foundation.
