NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Rosina "Rose" Parisi, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Wednesday, May 27. She was 87.
Parisi was born on Dec. 16, 1927, to Francesco and Angelina (Sammarco) Passarelli. She worked at American White Cross in New Rochelle.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Parisi, Pasquale Parisi and his wife Arlene, and Michael; three granddaughters; and sisters Christina Iarocci and Louise DeFilippo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale, her brother Martin Passarelli and a sister Carol Colombo, and
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place in New Rochelle.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Name Church.
Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
