Santucci was born in Manhattan to John and Eileen Santucci.
He was a partner at the intellectual property firm Frommer, Lawrence & Haug and served as chair of its patent prosecution group. He was one of the nation's leading experts in patent law with extensive trial experience as well as numerous cases before the International Trade Commission.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Burbach); and children, John and Julia; siblings, Eileen Hawe, Dennis Santucci, Robert Santucci, Wayne Santucci, Laura Santucci and Susan Failla.
Visitation is Monday and Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m., at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 75 Lispenard Ave., New Rochelle, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
