NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Robert T. Short of New Rochelle, formerly of Tuckahoe, died Dec. 20. He was 72.
Short was born in 1942, to Patrick and Iva (Quirk) Short. He graduated from Iona Prep and attended Iona College. He was an Army veteran. He managed Big Top Toy Store in New Rochelle for over 40 years.
Short is survived by his siblings, Patricia Short, Iva Schulz, Donald Short and Elizabeth Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Cremation service will be private.
