Paul J. Marciano, 97, Of New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Paul J. Marciano, a lifelong New Rochelle resident, died on Friday, June 12, at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital. He was 97.

Marciano was born on Nov. 3, 1917, to Benedetto Rocco and Lucy Zito Marciano. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

After his service, he owned and operated Marciano Bakery Company on Third Street in New Rochelle.

He is survived by three sisters, Josephine Lettera, Antoinette Ranilla, and Mary Fava,

He was predeceased by his brother, Benedetto Marciano Jr. 

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the N. Cancro Funeral Home, 104 Fourth St. in New Rochelle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle.

Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
