Mary Molluzo, Of Pelham, 93

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Mary Molluzzo, of Pelham, died on Saturday, March 7, at United Hebrew Nursing Home in New Rochelle. She was 93 years old.

Molluzzo was born to Salvatore and Carmela Molluzzo in Manhattan. She was the youngest of three children. Her passion for sewing and making clothes at a young age led her to create and run her own business, Tonmar, on 239th Street in the Bronx. Molluzzo was generous and an active volunteer at Albert Einstein Hospital.

Molluzzo is predeceased by her brothers, Carmine and Anthony. She will be missed by her nephew; her nieces; her grandnephews; and her grandnieces.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 13. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Catharine's Church at 25 Second Ave., Pelham, at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14.
