NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Marie A. Imperioli, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on June 3. She was 77.
Imperioli was born on Nov. 10, 1937, in the Bronx to Vincenzo (Jimmy) and Florence (nee Caputo) Balascio, moving with them to New Rochelle when she was five.
She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Astorino and her husband, Gus; her brother John Balascio and his wife Carol; her in-laws Louie Imperioli and his wife, Barbara, Linda Grimaldi and her husband, Tom, Madeline Imperioli and her partner, Elaine.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, her son James and sister Sarah DiSisto.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc.,16 Shea Place in New Rochelle.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name Church.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
