NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Margaret Montesione, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Oct. 27. She was 95.
Montesione was born July 30, 1919, in Shelter Island, to Anthony and Anna (Aukistalis) Thompson. She was a member of the Foresters Club and a longtime communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Montesione is survived by her daughter, Marie Forcone (Ottavio); son, Pat Montesione; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Ralph A. Montesione.
Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
