NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Margaret M. Lewis, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died May 5. She was 86.
Lewis was born May 19, 1928 in New Rochelle to Thomas and Mary (nee Byrne) Roe.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, sister Dorothy Wendell and brother Terrance Roe, and is survived by her children Deborah DiCairano and her husband Anthony, Thomas W. Lewis and his wife Joanne, Susan Kiernan and her husband Doc, Stephen Lewis and his wife Meg, Nancy Cleary and her husband Kevin, Brian and John Lewis; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a brother, John Roe.
Visiting hours are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle.
A funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Kitchen in New Rochelle.
