Luisa DeBartolo, 80, Longtime New Rochelle Resident

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Luisa DeBartolo, a longtime New Rochelle resident, died Nov. 4. She was 80.

DeBartolo was born Nov. 26, 1931, in Italy to Serafino and Maria Passarelli Iorio. She worked for Trinity School in New Rochelle. She was predeceased by her husband, Santo DeBartolo, in 1990.

She is survived by eight children, Anthony (Giuliana) DeBartolo, MaryAnna (Jaime) Pedroza, Diane (Thomas) Paduano, Frank (Frances) DeBartolo, John DeBartolo, Robert (Elizabeth) DeBartolo, David DeBartolo and Michael (Nora) DeBartolo; two brothers Salvatore and Frank Iorio; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
