MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Lorraine Ciotti, a Mount Vernon native, died Sept. 18 in the Bronx. She was 93.
Ciotti was born July 3, 1919, in Mount Vernon to Frank and Mary Santora Tomasini. She married Eugene Ciotti Aug. 20, 1944, in Mount Vernon. He predeceased her in September 2011. She moved to Brewster from New Rochelle six years ago and became a member of St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel.
Ciotti is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Abbey, of Brewster, and Gina Rice, of Hartsdale; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster.
