NEW ROCHELLE, Conn. - Josephine Notaro, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died Nov. 28. She was 95.
Notaro was born Jan. 30, 1919, in New Rochelle, to Peter Angelo and Ann Marie (Iarocci) Colombo.
Notaro is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Gennaro “Gerry” Notaro; step-son, Joseph; and brothers, Dean James Colombo, Daniel Colombo and Martin Colombo.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
