NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- John W. Ragone, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on Dec. 27. He was 31.
Ragone was born on Sept. 27, 1983, in White Plains to Gerard and Karen (Oxberry) Ragone. He graduated from Iona Prep and Iona College and worked in Real Estate Management for HBI Inc, in New York City. He was an avid hockey player for his school and several leagues in lower Westchester
In addition to his parents, Jerry and Karen, he is survived by his wife, the former Kristine Ward, whom he married on Oct. 1, 2011; his daughter Theresa and his brother Matthew.
Visiting will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor, N.Y. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, or to a scholarship fund in his daughter's name.
