PELHAM/NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Jeanette Basile, a longtime resident of Pelham and New Rochelle, died Oct. 16. She was 85.
Basile was born Feb. 20, 1929, in New York City, to Rosario and Angela Marie (Labella) Letizia. She worked as a secretary for various oil companies. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Basile is survived by her children, Dennis and Donna; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Richard; and husband, Michael.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
