Jean Anna Ferguson, 76, Of Pelham Manor

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. - Jean Anna Ferguson of Pelham Manor died Tuesday, Oct. 21. She was 76.

Ferguson was born to George and Helen Archambault, she grew up in the Edgewater neighborhood of the Bronx and was educated at Villa Maria Academy. She was director of the Department of Housekeeping and Maintenance for the College of New Rochelle for over 10 years.

She volunteered her time to organizations such as the Girl Scouts of America, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, the New Rochelle Humane Society, Accents on Antiques and Hope soup kitchen.

Ferguson is survived by her children, Anne Ferguson-Rohrer (Scott) of Arlington, Va., James Jr. (Angie) of New Rochelle, Karen Cohen (Mike) of the Bronx, Andrew of Phoenix, Ariz., and Erin Ferguson Wasserburger (Matt) of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Barney.

Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 23 and Friday, Oct. 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Pelham Funeral Home. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.
