SMYRNA, Ga. - Jane Ellen Dawson, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, N.Y., formerly of Irvington, N.Y., and most recently of Smyrna, Ga., died Oct. 22. She was 87.
Dawson was born Aug. 31, 1927, in New Rochelle, N.Y., to John (Todd) and Edith Genoy.
Dawson is survived by her children, Jeanne (Alan) Dawson, of Coventry, R.I., Nancy (Neal) O'Leary of Smyrna, and John (Nina) Dawson of Irvington, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, William Dawson.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle, N.Y., followed by burial at Beechwoods Cemetery.
