NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Helyn L. Fink, a resident of New Rochelle and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died May 9. She was 86.
Fink was born July 24, 1926, to F. Henry and Henrietta (Heissenbuttel) Lautz in the Bronx. She worked as the assistant to the director for Mt. Vernon Hospital. She was the president of the Ladies of Immanuel and financial secretary of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and was the past president and member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Zonta International.
Fink is survived by her son, Douglas Fink (Barbara); daughter, Laura Fink Gross (Jeffrey); and a granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Edward Fink.
Calling hours are Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at The Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Eastchester. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church 17 East Grand St. Mt. Vernon, NY 10552. Interment to follow at the Kensico Cemetery.
