Harold Glatz, 87, New Rochelle Resident

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Harold Glatz, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died Monday, Feb. 1. He was 87.

He was born Oct. 20, 1928, in New Rochelle to Albert and Elsa (Rapp) Glatz. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for many years as an installer and repairman for N.Y. Telephone.

He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa Humphrey, whom he married in November 2007; his stepson Walter Glatz; and his brother Alfred (Norma) Glatz..

He was predeceased by another brother, Richard Glatz.

Visiting hours will take place Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
