Frederick F. Massaroni, 89, Of New Rochelle, WWII Veteran, Letter Carrier

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Frederick F. Massaroni, a New Rochelle resident, died Dec. 17. He was 89.

Massaroni was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Yonkers, to Lawrence and Lucy (Campana) Massaroni.  He was a retired letter carrier and served in the Army during World War II and was a Purple Heart Veteran.

Massaroni is survived by his wife, Grace; children, Raymond (Debra) Cimino, Maryann (Richard) Santoro, Robert (Amy) Cimino; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at Blessed Sacrament Church.
