NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Francis B. Woodruff, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Thursday, Aug. 20. He was 88.
Woodruff was born Feb. 12, 1927, in Rochester, N.Y. He worked for many years in construction management with the Archdiocese of New York, The Children's Village, Chase Manhattan Bank, NBC and CBS.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Woodruff, whom he married on Nov. 23, 1954; his daughters, Eileen Boyle Orton and Susan Woodruff; his sons, Thomas, Robert, John and Gary Woodruff; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.Services will be held in Salem, N.J.
