NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Frances Alberthea Tilley, 83, of New Rochelle, died Thursday, May 7.
She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Tela, Honduras, to the late Frances and William Payne.
Tilley earned a master’s degree from the College of New Rochelle and was a registered nurse.
She worked at Sutton Park Nursing Home for 28 years.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Frank N. Tilley; one son, Frank (Jordana) Tilley III; one grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Four brothers, Thomas, William, Herbert, and Rufus; and two sisters, Myra and Iris, preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the George T. Davis Funeral Home, 14 Lecount Place, New Rochelle.
Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, 517 E. 233rd St., Bronx.
