NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Ethel H. Atlas of New Rochelle died Saturday, Nov. 8. She was 99.
Atlas was born Oct. 3, 1915, to Aron and Rebecca Horowitz. She was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and was a retired bookkeeper for Patchen Interior Decorators.
Atlas is survived by her children, Diane Leopold and Stuart (Rona) Rod; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brother, Carl Howard. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Norman Rod and Joseph Atlas; and son-in-law, Arthur Leopold.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at Mt. Eden Cemetery, Hawthorne.
