NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Elizabeth Cullen, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Sept. 24. She was 72.
Cullen was born Feb. 5, 1942, in Calderbank, Scotland, to Robert and Elizabeth (Sloan) McLaughlin. She worked as a pastry chef for many years at The Larchmont Yacht Club.
Cullen is survived by her children, Robert Cullen, Cara Cullen, Clare (Chris) Beckett, and Maura Cullen; a grandchild; brothers, Patrick, Joseph, and Michael McLaughlin; and sister, Ann Kerrigan. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Patrick.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
