Lennon was born Sept. 4, 1923, in New Rochelle, to Thomas and Sarah (McGoey) Ryder. She worked for Railway Express and Reinsurance Clearing House.
Lennon is survived by her children, James (Helene) Lennon, Jr, Mary Ellen (Richard) Owen, Suzanne Lennon, Eileen (Gary) Austin, and Timothy (Peggy) Lennon; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Anne) Ryder; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Thomas and Gerald Ryder; and grandson, Patrick.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre.
