Fadem graduated with honors from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. Her passions were family, gardening, music, world affairs and travel with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leroy "Lee" Fadem; children Steven Fadem and Laurie Baskin, Barbara and Jeff Hayden, Kathy Ivrey, and Diane and Jeff Kennedy; brother Roy and his children Jill and Robert Serling and David Raizen and Bettina Daloia and their children; and grandchildren Rachel and Chloe Fadem, Mark, Daniel and Sarah Hayden, Caitlin and Carly Ivrey, and Cody Kennedy.
Fadem was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Patricia Raizen.
Funeral services were scheduled for noon Friday, Feb. 5, at Temple Israel of New Rochelle, 1000 Pinebrook Blvd., New Rochelle. Riverside Memorial Chapel in Mount Vernon assisted with arrangements.
