NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Charles J. Auricchio, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died Sept. 2. He was 72.
Auricchio was born Nov. 29, 1941, in Mt. Vernon, to Gerard and Rose (Rella) Auricchio. He was a foreman for United Water Co. and was a Navy veteran.
Auricchio is survived by his wife, Lorraine; son, Christopher Auricchio; daughter, Allison Auricchio; sister, Geraldine (Thomas) Listman; and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Holy Name Church. Interment will follow.
