Anthony J. Perricone, Sr., 82, Of New Rochelle, Korean War Veteran

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Anthony J. Perricone, Sr. a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died Oct. 29. He was 82.

Perricone was born Sept. 12, 1932, to Philip and Josephine (DeCarlo) Perricone. He worked as a letter carrier for the Mount Vernon Post Office for over 28 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Perricone is survived by his sons, Philip and Anthony (Nancy) Perricone; three granddaughters; and former spouse, Lorraine. He was predeceased by his parents; and son, Christopher.

Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle, where a funeral service will take place Friday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
