NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Anthony C. Daniele, a New Rochelle resident, died March 20, at his home. He was 93.
Daniele was a World War II combat veteran and met his future wife, Mireille Verstaen in Lille, France.
He is survived by sons Michael and Robert, brothers Salvatore and Frank Daniele, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, sister Josephine Iannuzzi and great grandchild Ryan Repa
Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Cancro Funeral Home, at 104 Fourth St. in New Rochelle.
A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church.
