NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Persico workers progressed Wednesday on replacing 91-year-old gas baselines with new ones along Malcolm X Drive. Drivers were detoured to makeshift lanes as construction equipment took up parts of the roadway. The crew has left the nearly month-old project for the day, but will be at same location Thursday. Workers will then move onto the next street near Malcolm and Horton Avenue.
