Wind Advisory Is In Effect For Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The rain that fell overnight is moving eastward, but winds will be a factor for the rest of the morning on Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 11 a.m. Monday that includes Southern Westchester as well as Southern Fairfield, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island.

Winds, at 15 to 25 miles per hour, could gust as high as 45 to 50 mph and could bring down trees, causing scattered power outages.
