WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- More 270 cancer survivors, guests and hospital staff gathered at the annual White Plains Hospital Cancer Survivors Day celebration at the Crowne Plaza Hotel this past Sunday.

Photo Credit: ContributedThe hospital has held the annual celebration since the 1990’s, coinciding with National Cancer Survivors Day as a way to recognize and connect with patients and family members who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Lymphoma survivor Karen “Toby” Haghenbeck was awarded guest of honor by White Plains Hospital and Cancer Program leaders in recognition of her struggle with the illness.
