Westchester Man, Driver Of Mercedes Both Killed In Parkway Crash

A 44-year-old Westchester resident and his brother were killed when their 2009 white Mercedes sedan careened off the northbound Bronx River Parkway and slammed into a tree Friday morning, according to multiple reports.

The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. near the Westchester County line in the Bronx.

The Westchester man killed has been identified as Dave Hunter of Yonkers, who was a passenger of the Mercedes driven by his brother, 47-year-old Dayan Hunter of the Bronx, who was the driver, and also pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to ABC 7.

The crash resulted in the closure of that stretch of the parkway until just before dawn.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
